Azure Platform Engineer

Position Overview:

The Azure Platform Engineer role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure services, automation, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions to meet the organization's requirements.
• Develop and implement best practices for Azure resource provisioning, configuration, and optimization.
• Collaborate with development teams to architect and deploy highly available and scalable applications on Azure.
• Implement automation tools and processes to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor the performance and health of Azure resources and take proactive measures to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and policies by implementing appropriate security controls and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on the Azure cloud platform.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services including computing, Storage, Networking, and Security.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure CLI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with Azure networking services.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
