Position: Data Engineer
Location: Snoqualmie, WA
Duration: Long Term Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Job Description:
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and SQL to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target databases
- Strong knowledge on time series databases like Influx DB, Splunk etc as well as relational DB like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Ability to perform DB schema design and data modelling. Current table schemas have lot of challenges, and they want the data engineer to review and fix them.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions
- Monitor data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of other database systems or big data technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark) is good to have.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) is strongly preferred.
