Job Details
Job Title: Data Warehouse Architect
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid 2 days onsite weekly, local candidates only).
Duration: 1 year contract with possible extension
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- 3+ years with Teradata Cloud
- 3+ years with Business Objects XI and/or Power BI
- 3+ years of ETL development experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the operational database supports the reporting needs of the data warehouse.
- Design and load data warehouse schemas to meet analytic and reporting requirements.
- Make iterative changes to the warehouse as needs evolve alongside other application systems.
- Develop BI applications such as dashboards, reports, and visualization tools.
- Extract, transform, and load data from various systems into a consolidated, clean warehouse environment.
- Optimize and build database queries for federal reporting and internal analytics.
- Train developers and provide ongoing support for both internal development teams and end-users.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs and build custom solutions.
- Conduct training sessions and offer 1-on-1 support to end-users and developers on Teradata and BI tools.
