Job Details

Title: Senior Data Engineer – Google Cloud Platform / Big Data / ETL
Location: Richardson, TX (On-site)
Duration: 6+ Months (Possible extension)

Job Summary:
Looking for a senior Data Engineer to build and optimize enterprise data pipelines and warehouses on Google Cloud Platform using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and modern ETL tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑performance data solutions.​

Must-Have Skills:

  • 9+ years in Data Engineering & Data Warehousing (Teradata, enterprise ETL – Informatica/DataStage or similar).

  • 3+ years hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage) building modern data pipelines.

  • Strong SQL and at least one NoSQL DB; solid Python or similar scripting for data engineering.

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD for data pipelines.

  • Background in query optimization, data modeling, workload management, and microservices-based data solutions.​

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and Agile/SDLC experience.
