Position Overview
As an HR Account Manager, you will be a trusted partner to our clients, helping them navigate the full spectrum of human resources needs. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is approachable, detail-oriented, and energized by collaboration. You ll combine technical HR expertise with strong relationship-building skills to deliver thoughtful, practical solutions that support both employees and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
Administer salary programs, job evaluations, performance appraisals, merit increases, incentive plans, and employee benefits, including life, health, disability insurance, and retirement plans
Partner closely with clients to ensure HR programs align with business strategies and organizational goals
Leverage integrated HR and management processes to drive accountability, continuous improvement, and positive outcomes
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs tailored to client needs
Conduct engaging new hire orientations, both in person and via web conference
Provide guidance on HR best practices and support organizational development initiatives
Serve as a collaborative, responsive point of contact for clients, employees, and internal teams
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field desired but not required; additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
PHR, SPHR, or CCP certification highly desired
Minimum of 10 years of HR Generalist experience in a fast-paced professional environment
Understanding of compensation, including experience with benchmarking, salary surveys, bonus plans, gap analysis, banding, rewards, strategic HR, and retention initiatives
Experience providing HR services to federal government contractors
Proven experience designing and implementing organization-wide HR systems aligned with business goals
Ability to provide executive-level coaching and guidance on performance management, career development, employee relations, leadership development, and succession planning
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, rapport, and long-term relationships
High level of discretion, sound judgment, and commitment to confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
Knowledge of federal and state HR compliance, including FLSA, FMLA, OFCCP, COBRA, and USERRA
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
