Position Summary
The primary role of the Developer I position is to collaborate within a small team of developers and business analysts to develop and modify custom EDI Boomi integrations to support customer and supplier communications. This role will work directly with business stakeholders and IT management to elicit requirements, provide ideas for improvements, and deliver well-documented solutions that accommodate stakeholder and business process needs while ensuring that pre-defined coding standard practices are followed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Work with other developers, project managers, architects, business analysts and other departments to develop new technology and expand into existing applications
  • Develop medium to large scale EDI integrations with medium complexity
  • Design, develop and implement EDI integrations using current technologies, mainly Boomi and Sterling Integrator
  • Develop design documents such as technical specifications, functional requirements, object modules, system test plans, technical and user documentation
  • Ensure successful completion of projects that meet requirements
  • Daily compliance monitoring for Order Fulfillment
  • Research and resolve EDI syntax issues
  • Resolve EDI errors and re process documents
  • Monitor changes to EDI specifications and analyze impact
  • Participate in Team Code Reviews
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
1-3 years EDI experience, including daily use of ANSI X12 EDI standards
Versed in AS2, sFTP and API communications
Ability to work independently/self-motivated
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
3-5 years EDI experience, including daily use of ANSI X12 EDI standards
