Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Define, maintain, and optimize business data architecture and data management frameworks supporting enterprise benefit solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure critical data is governed, documented, and aligned with business goals.

Lead the design and implementation of data-driven business solutions throughout the Solution Lifecycle (SLC).

Drive data initiatives and ensure alignment between data teams, business analysts, and IT resources.

Advocate for data governance by integrating metadata management, data lineage, and security practices.

Develop frameworks to manage and publish common data models, definitions, data flows, and integration patterns.

Ensure compliance with internal data privacy and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:

<>Education:</>

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master s degree preferred.

<>Experience:</>

9+ years of experience as a Systems/Data Analyst in employee benefits, insurance, or financial services.

6+ years with distributed and cloud-based environments involving complex data flows.

4+ years with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience during transition phases is a plus.

Familiarity with SQL Server, SSIS, and Microsoft data management tools.

Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) is an advantage.

Proven history of implementing data governance frameworks and standards.

<>Certifications:</>

Must hold or be pursuing:

o CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional DAMA) or CBIP (Certified Business Intelligence Professional TDWI)

o TOGAF-9 Foundation or equivalent architecture framework certification

Key Skills:

Deep knowledge of data management principles, including large datasets (10K to 5M rows)

Experience with data integration, transaction management, and system interoperability

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Ability to coordinate resources across business, data, and technical domains

Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Visio, and Access

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
