Job Title: Senior Cloud Architect – Remote (East Coast Preferred)
Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Architect to lead enterprise-wide adoption of AI-enabled cloud services. This role will focus on creating scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures that integrate AI technologies into existing infrastructure. The position is primarily remote within the U.S., with preference for candidates based in the Eastern region who can occasionally join in-person sessions.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the enterprise AI cloud strategy, aligning with security, compliance, and performance requirements.

Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to support enterprise AI adoption.

Architect and optimize hybrid cloud solutions that incorporate AI/ML capabilities.

Forecast capacity needs and guide performance and cost optimization initiatives.

Establish resiliency strategies including backup, disaster recovery, and high availability planning.

Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, governance policies, and regulatory compliance.

Document architecture, configurations, and best practices while enforcing design standards.

Lead integration and deployment of AI services across business applications and infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions across multiple providers.

Hands-on expertise with major public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Strong background in cloud networking, security, and performance tuning.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).

Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and MLOps practices.

Proven ability to collaborate across business units and drive complex initiatives independently.
Preferred Skills

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).

Experience optimizing AI/ML workloads and monitoring solutions for cost and performance.

Exposure to governance and compliance frameworks within enterprise environments.
