Computer Scientist

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Computer Scientist to join our Terminal Second Level Engineering (TSLE) System Engineering & Field Support Team in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This position serves as a member of the team that is deeply involved in the full deployment, integration and field support life cycle of multiple projects.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work collaboratively with a team or as an individual on each assigned project to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Work well in a dynamic environment where requirements and deadlines evolve during the course of the project.
• Monitor NAS system software and FAA procedural requirements when providing STARS deployment support, testing and interface of software and computer system.
• Ascertain STARS/TAMR and Elite system being deployed are supportable, maintainable and certifiable.
• Respond to field calls and issues, gather facility data.
• Load software, firmware, adaptation and configuration.
• Ascertain user requirements, performs system-wide analysis and functional allocations, exhibits an understanding of the requirements and of the responsive approach to the customer and satisfies the customer requirements.
• Work independently under general guidelines or objectives.
• Light travel is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

• Networking and Troubleshooting skills.
• ship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required.
• Upon conditional offer of employment candidates will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.
• Verification of past employment, verification of education and references are also required.

Preferred:

• Computer programming language
• Operating System

Education:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or a Bachelor's degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics and computer science and 7 years related work experience OR
• Master's degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics and computer science and 5 years related work experience.
