Project Manager-Data Services/Architecture - Long Term Project - Remote (EST)

Location: Remote (EST)
Duration: Long Term Project/Contract to hire
Compensation: $70-74.00/hr.

This is a Project Manager/Business Analyst dual-role, full-time, contractor position in our data services area. The position is primarily (~67%) responsible for overseeing and managing the onboarding of clients to our existing data services architecture/foundational data services and the migration of 100+ cross-functional systems from legacy data sources to new Repertoire data service. This is a client engagement and task management role that requires excellent client management, organizational, and cross-functional team coordination and communication skills. This position is also (~33%) responsible for performing business analytics to support business innovation efforts mainly within but not limited to supply chain area. Music industry experience is a must. Music product lifecycle and supply chain systems experience a big plus.
- Own, drive and innovate the onboarding process of new clients to existing data services
- Create, own and drive transition plan and provide periodic status reports for the migration of 100+ clients to New Repertoire Service
- Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders to execute the transition plan
- Work closely with business and development teams to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
- Facilitate and run all project management related client and team meetings
- Define and track key performance metrics to track progress and measure the success of the project
- Efficiently run change management to keep the project on track and stakeholders informed
- Communicate product updates and changes to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Continuously monitor and analyze client feedback to improve project efficiency and satisfaction
- Own and drive requirements gathering sessions by working with cross-team subject matter experts
- Own, drive and create requirements documentation*
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to create requirements documentation, e.g. BRDs, data dictionaries, flow charts, etc.
- Ability to create project plans and provide project statstats tracking progress against plan
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to run change management and keep the project within scope and on track
- Ability to project manage and lead project teams
- Excellent client engagement and management skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager/Business Analyst in the music industry
- Proven track record of successfully owning and delivering projects from concept to launch
- Proven track record of successfully analyzing and documenting requirements for business process innovation and/or development projects
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and prioritize features
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile environment
- Experience with producing key requirements defining documents
- Experience with services architecture, APIs, Azure AD, SQS, SNS, and Swagger a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, commerce or a related field.
- PMP and/or Scrum Master certification a plus
