Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies Space Systems group has an opening for a Senior Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer. This position will be on-site in Palm Bay, Fl. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.

This position will support the test effort through the product life cycle activities ranging from program inception, requirements analysis including testability, test architecture, to integration, test and production support activities. The System Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission ground capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and sub-contractors for the full integration and test of the system. The role will include occasional direct support to Programs and Customers (internal & external) to ensure test execution activities for existing portfolio programs and support to future pursuits.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible of developing and/or executing verification plans, test procedures, and document test results in reports to ensure requirements are met
• Provide support to the technical SI&T lead in the day-to-day during ground hardware and software integration and verification activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track issues through to resolution
• Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes in collaboration with the development team
• Represent SI&T during major design reviews such as SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, TRR
• Support to all phases of the product Life-Cycle (design, analysis, manufacturing, test, verification/validation and delivery)
• Collaborate and consult with cross-functional technical team (i.e. System Engineering, Project Engineering, Software Engineering) during requirements analysis phase including developing/updating requirements verification traceability matrix (RVTM) for completeness
• Travel (as needed) for post-delivery support and integration activities
• Work extended and weekend hours during SI&T phases of the program
• Secret or TS/SCI Clearance needed, ship required for Clearances.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of integration/test experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of integration/test experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of integration/test experience
• 4+ years of experience of Ground System Integration and Test (SI&T)
• 4+ years of automation experience
• Active Secret security clearance to start or have the ability obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience working on aerospace/defense systems (space payloads, spacecraft bus, ground systems, environmental testing)
• Experience with hardware and software requirements testability, definition, block diagrams, interconnect diagrams, and software & hardware integration
• Experience with Cosmos, Ruby, InControl or other Satellite/ Telemetry Tracking & Control (TT&C) Scripting languages
• Experience with Linux OS
• Experience using DOORS and/or MBSE software such as CAMEO and MagicDraw
• Experience working with a multi-discipline technical teams (mechanical, structural, thermal, power, RF, electrical, systems) through all phases of program (concept, proposals, SRR, PDR/CDR, Final sell-off)
• Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python, Perl, Visual Studio code)
• Experience with Jira/Bit Bucket/Confluence
• Experience with MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint
• Experience using Source Control Tools
• Experience using RF and Optical equipment including but not limited to Modems, Emulators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators, O-Scopes, Power Sensors, OTDRs, Bit Error Ratio Tester (BERT)
