Job Description
The Principal Oracle EBS Developer Analyst supports, enhances, and optimizes Oracle EBS
modules to meet the unique needs of the agency. This position works closely with cross-division
business partners and IT leaders, providing a collaborative team approach with direction for daily
and project-oriented activities. This role requires technical acumen and functional expertise, and
the ability to simplify and streamline government processes to align and implement solutions
within the EBS technology stack.
Essential Functions
BS Module Expertise: Provide functional and technical expertise in one or more EBS
version 12.2.x modules, such as Financials (GL, AP, FA, CM, TCA), Supply Chain
Management SCM (PO, Inv, BOM, WIP, MSCA), and HRMS (HR, ADV Benefits, CWB,
WFM, Payroll, SS, PM, LMS).
Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with cross-divisional agency stakeholders to gather
and analyze requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications
that align with public sector objectives.
System Design & Development: Design, develop, and implement configurations,
extensions, modifications, localizations and interfaces (CEMLI s) using Oracle s
technologies (Config, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, APEX) while ensuring
compliance with Oracle s methodology and TriMet s change management (CM)
standards.
Integrations: Lead collaborative sessions with business partners, IT, and external 3rd party
software implementers that require integration with Oracle EBS API s in fulfilling the SDLC
implementation for building successful integration.
Testing: Develop, document, and train business partners in executing comprehensive test
plans, scripts, and scenarios to ensure technical system integrity, functionality, and
performance. Support business partners during user acceptance testing (UAT) and
production implementations and upgrades.

Compliance & Security: Ensure all Oracle EBS configurations, integrations, and
implementations comply with government regulations, industry standards, security & audit
protocols, and TriMet s CM standards.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations,
processes, customizations, and other relevant project artifacts, ensuring alignment with
government documentation standards and TriMet s external audit protocols.
User Training: Develop and deliver training sessions for agency staff on Oracle EBS
functionality, promoting best practices by using TriMet s Oracle-configured Learning
Management System (LMS).
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing functional and technical support and
troubleshooting for Oracle EBS modules, including issue resolution, system performance
analysis, and operational continuity.
Contribute in building the Oracle EBS Technology Roadmap for PMO projects, EBS
patching, instance strategy, and support. Communicate, listen, and collaborate with IT and

business partners on the iterative refinement of the roadmap to best serve the agency-
wide vision.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify alternative ways of improving and
meeting business needs.
Liaison between cross-divisional business partners and IT in communicating the
alignment, priority and status of current PMO projects and daily Kanban Activities.
Mentor team members on areas of expertise. Participate in and lead peer reviews.
Analyzes applications to comply with security protocols, ensuring TriMet's change
management complies with external audit policy.
