Solution Manager/Scrum Master

Overview

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in support of a major ERP modernization initiative for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and Navy clients. The ideal candidate will serve as a servant leader and coach, helping teams embrace Agile principles and frameworks to deliver mission-critical capabilities as part of a complex, enterprise-level transformation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach teams on Agile/Scrum practices to increase efficiency, delivery, and team collaboration
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress while shielding them from outside distractions
• Partner with Product Owners to manage backlogs and ensure well-defined, prioritized user stories
• Track and communicate team metrics and progress to stakeholders and leadership
• Collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and other Scrum Masters to align with larger program-level goals under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

• 3+ years of experience working in Agile environments, with 2+ years as a Scrum Master.
• Experience with agile project management best practices.
• Extensive experience facilitating contracts, budgets in an agile context.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise systems or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in federal or DoD environments preferred; understanding of Navy IT systems is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Clearance:

• Requires an active Secret clearance.
