Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a Manager, RIA Marketplace & Portfolio Insights with a major corporation in New York City.
Duration: 7 month(s)
Pay Rate: $60 - $65/hr DOE
Job Summary:
The Manager, RIA Marketplace & Portfolio Insights, will be responsible for the collection, analysis and communication of data related to evolving media consumption habits and role within the larger landscape. The Manager will support many business and strategy teams across the organization, including Entertainment Networks, Streaming, Platform Distribution, and Corporate Strategy.

The scope of research includes work on evolving media and consumer behavior (usage and subscriptions), Pay TV trends (MVPDs and DMVPDs), and distribution negotiation support. The Manager will have experience with all forms of media research, ideally with a strong background in television and streaming methodologies. The individual will also possess knowledge about the business of television and streaming media and be curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator. The Manager will be a key contributor to reports and analysis that are regularly shared with senior leadership across Entertainment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Five or more years of experience in media research
Expert knowledge of Nielsen measurement and tools, especially NPower
Deep knowledge of media math concepts and data analysis
Strong writing skills, with the proven ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Ability to handle multiple tasks and still provide precise attention to detail
Proficiency in Windows-based PC applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Some experience with managing staff, training junior employees, and balancing their workload
Survey design skills, and experience with managing vendors on ad hoc and ongoing projects
Proficient with digital measurement tools like Comscore
Visual design skills and/or experience with visualization tools like Canva
Required Education:
BS/BA or equivalent experience
