About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Agent Software Engineer to contribute to a cross-functional team building transformative AI agents for HR & Finance. This role is crucial in implementing tooling strategies, staying informed about industry trends, and ensuring our AI-driven solutions integrate effectively within the Workday stack. You will be responsible for implementing AI frameworks, contributing to agent workflow orchestration, utilizing LLMs, agent frameworks, and enterprise AI to design and develop scalable, reliable and trusted AI agents for both HR and Finance.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Agent Software Engineer to contribute to a cross-functional team building transformative AI agents for HR & Finance. You will be responsible for implementing AI frameworks, contributing to agent workflow orchestration, utilizing LLMs, agent frameworks, and enterprise AI to design and develop scalable, reliable and trusted AI agents for both HR and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of innovative engineers to deliver AI-powered agents that integrate deeply into HR and Financial workflows, accelerating intelligent decision making.
- Develop relationships with software engineers, machine learning engineers, and data scientists on partner teams
- Apply understanding of the AI system lifecycle, including problem definition, data acquisition, model training, system integration, and validation.
- Implement and integrate AI tools, frameworks, and platforms to ensure scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
- Stay up to date with advancements in AI, LLMs, RAG, autonomous agents and orchestration frameworks to drive innovation.
- Contribute to establishing monitoring, feedback loops, and continuous learning mechanisms to improve agent performance over time.
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience developing and delivering highly scalable and available cloud products, preferably with machine learning platform exposure
- 2+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation, with a focus on enterprise applications
- 3+ years of experience using Python, Golang, Scala
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering (Masters is a plus)
Other Qualifications
- Solid understanding of LLMs, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph)..
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into AI-powered solutions.
- Strong programming skills using Object-Oriented Principles in web application development.
- Superb communication skills. Ability to articulate sophisticated technical ideas
- Proven experience building and delivering high-performance processing
- Experience of full life-cycle software engineering practices including coding standards, testing, code reviews, source control management
- Proficient in technical writing documentation
- Ability to mentor junior engineers
- Highly motivated to move at speed with a strong sense of ownership
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Experience with AWS is a plus.
