Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role requires an individual with a strong background in data modeling, programming, and cloud-based technologies. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain dimensional data models using the Kimball methodology to support business intelligence and analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and workflows.
Utilize Python and SQL to process, transform, and analyze large datasets efficiently.
Leverage AWS technologies to build scalable and secure data infrastructure.
Work with Data Build Tool (DBT) to create and manage data transformation workflows.
Ensure data quality and consistency through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Explore and implement best practices for data integration and management.
Optionally work with PySpark to enhance big data processing capabilities.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Nice to have:
AWS technologies and cloud-based solutions.
Kimball methodology for dimensional data modeling.
Data Build Tool (DBT) for data transformation.
PySpark
