Global Supplier Sourcing Manager - Manufacturing

• Lead Global Transformation: Take the helm of our international sourcing initiatives, defining the vision and executing strategies that establish a world-class global supply system. You'll work closely with the Purchasing Director and Supply Chain VP to set ambitious goals and drive their achievement.
• Direct Impact on Manufacturing Excellence: Your work will directly feed our production lines, ensuring the strategic sourcing of critical components and raw materials essential to our specialized manufacturing processes.
• Empower and Lead a Technical Team: This is a true leadership role. You'll lead and mentor a talented team of Engineers and QA professionals, overseeing supplier evaluations, assigning critical tasks, providing expert guidance, and monitoring performance to ensure unparalleled quality and efficiency across our global operations.
• Navigate Complex International Landscapes: You'll be at the forefront of our global expansion, managing supplier relationships in key markets like China and India.. Your expertise in foreign markets, currency exchange, and international tariffs will be crucial in mitigating risks and maximizing value.
• Drive Strategic Project Management: Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll spearhead complex, international supplier-related projects, from meticulous planning and execution to proactive risk mitigation within diverse global contexts.

What you'll do:

• Strategic Sourcing Leadership: Identify, evaluate, and onboard international suppliers, ensuring strict alignment with global business objectives and conducting exhaustive due diligence across diverse geographical and regulatory landscapes.
• Global Team Leadership: Oversee the operational management of your global sourcing team, providing dynamic leadership, expert guidance, and actively recruiting new talent to bolster our international capabilities.
• Relationship Architect: Cultivate and maintain robust, high-value relationships with global suppliers to consistently ensure compliance, superior quality, unwavering reliability, and optimal cost-effectiveness across borders.
• Market Intelligence & Risk Mitigation: Conduct continuous, in-depth global market research to identify emerging opportunities, anticipate potential risks, and inform strategic decisions.
• Expert Negotiator: Expertly negotiate and manage complex international contracts, safeguarding company interests and securing favorable terms across diverse legal and cultural frameworks.

We're looking for someone with:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or contracting, with a profound focus on global sourcing and a proven track record of managing international supplier relationships and supply chain operations across various regions.
• You've personally sourced international suppliers and handled end-to-end contract negotiations.
• Extensive and demonstrable expertise in all facets of strategic global sourcing, including deep understanding of foreign markets, diverse sectors, complex currency exchange mechanisms, and international tariffs.
• Proven leadership background with significant experience leading, mentoring, and developing a team in a global context.
• Strong project management experience, particularly in large-scale, international initiatives within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial environments, with direct experience or familiarity with materials like Casting (Shell Core, Green Sand), foundries, rubber compounds, and fasteners.
• Proven expertise in international contract management, encompassing the drafting, negotiation, and administration of agreements that transcend national borders.
• Highly skilled negotiator with a strong, verifiable track record of achieving successful outcomes and significant cost savings in global sourcing initiatives.
• Non-expired passport or the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel. This role requires global mobility.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual proficiency is highly valued, particularly in Indian or Chinese languages, reflecting our global operational footprint.
• Experience with Intuit Flow inventory tool or Oracle ERP systems.
• Strong desire for long-term career commitment within a global organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex international tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced global environment.

• Base Pay Rate: $125,000 - $140,000 annually
