Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Service Now Developer for a contract position in MN(100% remote). The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary:
Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom system software, and/or the installation and maintenance of purchased systems software, as well as the configuration and support of hardware systems across client. In conjunction with more senior technical staff, develops proposals that consider alternatives and business case, and gains needed institutional approvals.Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer
- Experienced in development using javascript.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. (preferred)
- Remediation of customized ServiceNow Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, etc. as identified in Health Assessments.
- Examples could include correcting scripts with the following issues:
- Client Scripts should check for is Loading and return -
- Client-side code should not use GlideRecord
- Scripts should not contain hard-coded IDs -Scripts should not use the eval() method
- Client-side code should not contain the console.log() debugging method -Don't use a variable called gr in scripts
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years' experience, including one (1) year demonstrated technical experience
- Associate's degree and seven (7) years' experience, including one (1) year demonstrated technical experience.
