What you will do:

  • Collaborate with IT and business areas to ensure the derivatives system provides the required capabilities
  • Define and execute the vision for system fixes and improvements
  • Prioritize work for IT based on business needs and system goals
  • Work with in-house technology teams using Agile methodology to deliver new or enhanced system capabilities
  • Analyze and document requirements, business process flows, and data flows
  • Maintain the system backlog and ensure it reflects current priorities
  • Plan and prioritize system development and feature backlog with precise, detailed specifications
  • Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint and release goals
  • Coordinate between business and IT on system maintenance and support efforts
  • Monitor system performance and operations for opportunities to improve
  • Coordinate with business areas to execute system-related business processes

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor s or higher degree in finance or an IT-related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in Risk, IT, Trading, Derivatives, or related area
  • Strong knowledge of systems, data, and business process integrations between corporate functions in investments, risk, finance, or actuarial
  • Ability to effectively manage the conflicting needs of stakeholders
  • Understanding of business value related to features and functions
  • In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management
  • A strong candidate will be highly detail-oriented, well-organized, independent, assertive, self-motivated, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Finastra, Calypso, Murex, Neoxam, Golden Source, Markit EDM, Blackrock Aladdin, ePAM, or similar systems
