Low Voltage Technician - TEKsystems' Client (Commercial Systems)

What You'll Do
- Install and service commercial fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV, and other low voltage security systems
- Program and troubleshoot systems to ensure optimal performance
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service calls
- Collaborate with team members or work independently on job sites
- Maintain compliance with electrical and fire safety codes
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical issues
? Skills That Set You Apart
- Strong knowledge in low voltage installation, cabling, and system integration
- Experience with fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Bonus Points For
- NICET certification or equivalent
- Experience with system programming and commissioning
- Especially Security Knowledge
- A proactive mindset and a passion for technology
