Linux & Middleware Systems Engineer

Lead the design and implementation of scalable middleware infrastructure supporting enterprise customer systems.

Administer and configure NFS, Samba, and user roles in RHEL/OEL environments.

Monitor operating systems, application health, and system resources (disk, memory, users).

Implement and maintain monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.

Build and manage IaaS platforms using Docker and Kubernetes in AWS environments (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Route 53).

Deploy and manage load balancers (Nginx, Netscaler) to support traffic distribution.

Create, manage, and migrate virtual machines (VMs); maintain server inventory.

Ensure compliance with audit requirements and industry best practices.

Implement SLIs/SLOs to measure and improve system uptime and performance.

Manage Git-based version control for configuration and code deployments.

Collaborate with DBA, Network, DNS, and Application teams for issue resolution and performance tuning.

Support application and infrastructure patching across environments.

Coordinate between onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Strong expertise in Linux system administration (RHEL/OEL)

Experience with middleware setup and support in large-scale environments

Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git

Proficient in AWS IaaS services and monitoring solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk)

Load balancer configuration (Nginx, Netscaler)

Good understanding of VM lifecycle, storage, and networking in virtualized setups

Familiarity with SLIs/SLOs, compliance, patching, and audit controls
