Job Summary:The Power Validation Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and executing validation strategies for power management systems within System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures. This role ensures that power-related components meet design specifications and industry standards through rigorous testing and analyKey Responsibilities:Develop and execute validation plans for power management units, including PMICs, voltage regulators, and clock systems.Design and implement test procedures to assess power efficiency, thermal performance, and system stability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify validation requirements and integrate them into the development process.Utilize tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers to conduct tests and gather data.Analyze test results to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.Document validation processes, test results, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, CSA).Automate validation processes using scripting languages like Python or shell scripts to improve efficiency.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during validation activities Qualifications:Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in power validation, SoC validation, or related areas.Proficiency in C/C++ for driver development and Python for scripting and automation.Experience with validation tools and methodologies for power systems.Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to power systems.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills:Experience with pre-silicon validation and FPGA-based emulation platforms.Knowledge of ARM-based SoC architectures and debugging methodologies.Understanding of thermal management and power optimization techniques.Familiarity with design and testing of high-power electronic devices.Ability to lead validation projects and mentor junior engineers.
