Job Title: Enterprise Architect Digital Twin Platform

Role Overview
We are seeking a forward-thinking Enterprise Architect to drive the strategy, design, and execution of a city-scale digital twin platform that integrates real-time IoT data, 3D modeling, immersive visualization, and AI-powered insights into a cohesive urban intelligence system.
This role is central to aligning business objectives with technical capabilities balancing future-proof architecture, security, interoperability, and cloud-native scalability. You will collaborate closely with internal development teams, city stakeholders, and technology partners to ensure a seamless, resilient, and sustainable smart city platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Strategy & Leadership
Develop and maintain the overarching enterprise architecture framework for the digital twin ecosystem, aligned with smart city objectives and long-term digital transformation goals. - Platform Integration & Alignment
Design and lead integration across cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), digital twin engines (e.g., Azure Digital Twins, Siemens, Cesium), AI/ML services, and IoT infrastructure. - Interoperability and Governance
Champion dynamic, technical, and organizational interoperability, enabling real-time data exchange and unified city operations across transportation, utilities, infrastructure, and emergency response domains. - Team Collaboration
Coordinate architecture efforts across technical and functional roles 3D Developers, Simulation Engineers, Immersive Experience Designers, Smart Cities Consultants, Cybersecurity Leads, and others ensuring consistency and cohesion across application, data, and infrastructure layers. - Compliance & Cybersecurity Oversight
Establish security-first architectural patterns and support compliance initiatives with respect to NIST, FedRAMP, Zero Trust, and other relevant frameworks. Collaborate closely with the Cybersecurity Lead to protect expansive IoT attack surfaces. - Technology Evaluation & Roadmapping
Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to urban-scale digital twins, recommending strategic adoptions and platform enhancements to maintain architectural agility. - Executive & Stakeholder Communication
Translate complex architecture roadmaps into clear narratives for city executives, civic agencies, and external partners, guiding procurement, integration, and policy decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, ideally in large-scale, multi-stakeholder platforms or urban systems.
- Demonstrated experience designing for cloud-native, event-driven systems, microservices, and digital twin platforms (Azure Digital Twins, Siemens, PTC, etc.).
- Proven ability to architect solutions with high security, scalability, and availability requirements.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data strategy, DevOps/CI-CD, and modern API architecture.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in government, urban planning, smart cities, or critical infrastructure domains.
- Familiarity with GIS/BIM interoperability, 3D/4D geospatial systems, and urban simulation tools.
- TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent EA certification.
- Active or eligible for U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or higher preferred).
- Experience integrating AI/ML workflows, predictive analytics, and simulation modeling into enterprise systems.

- High developer velocity enabled by clear standards, frameworks, and integrations.
