Job Details

Title: PL/SQL Developer

Location: Washington, DC 20431(Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Description

This position provides technical support for the Lending suite of applications, including Flexcube and SWIFT MQ. The role encompasses the following responsibilities, and requires proficiency in at least four or five of the listed skills:

  • Proficiency with Oracle databases on both On-premise Exadata and Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing and developing fundamental scripts utilizing Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, data utilities such as SQL Loader and Data Pump, as well as Unix shell wrappers for log analysis and database interactions.
  • Accountable for the installation, configuration, migration, and maintenance of Web Applications and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications across both Windows and Unix platforms, with a focus on supporting deployments in on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Extensive experience in managing Middleware stacks based on both on-premise and cloud solutions, including components such as WebLogic, Java, Tomcat, and enterprise reporting tools like SAP BusinessObjects ,Power BI and Oracle BIP.
  • Competent in applying Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPUs) and additional vendor-issued patch sets to Middleware, COTS, and Business Intelligence environments.
  • Skilled in scripting with PowerShell, Unix shell, and Windows batch to streamline daily administrative operations. Responsible for deploying and migrating SQL, PL/SQL, and Java modules developed by application teams into production databases and middleware settings.
  • Proficient in SSL certificate implementation, management of private/public key pairs, and updating cipher suites in line with enterprise security standards.
  • Working knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), enterprise networking principles-including firewalls, VLANs, VCNs, and subnets-as well as authentication and authorization mechanisms such as LDAP, SSO, and Active Directory.

Daily proactive monitoring and respond to alerts that may sometimes necessitate to work on holidays, weekends, nights, and be on call if needed outside of standard work hours.
