About the Role:
We're seeking a Network Technician to support a major network infrastructure upgrade and migration project across multiple data closets. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale initiative that will modernize critical network systems. You'll play a key role in physical equipment moves, cabling migrations, IP updates, and documentation-all while collaborating with internal IT teams and external vendors.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

We're seeking a Network Technician to support a major network infrastructure upgrade and migration project across multiple data closets. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale initiative that will modernize critical network systems. You'll play a key role in physical equipment moves, cabling migrations, IP updates, and documentation-all while collaborating with internal IT teams and external vendors.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external contractors to schedule and execute network closet migrations.
- Assist with racking/un-racking equipment, migrating cabling, and ensuring proper connectivity.
- Track assets and update documentation, labeling, and asset management systems.
- Support IP address changes and verify functionality post-migration.
- Update network management systems such as IPAM (Infoblox), Cisco ISE, and monitoring tools (e.g., Catalyst Center).
- Provide basic troubleshooting post-migration to validate configurations and connectivity.
- Maintain accurate documentation including diagrams, schedules, and rollback plans.
Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with network engineering, cabling, and infrastructure support.
- Familiarity with Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and related technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
