An exciting opportunity exists for an RF Electrical Test Engineer I - 4th Shift to join our engineering test team at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Oversee measurements on GaAs and GaN devices and MMICs (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits) in a production environment
  • Setup electrical test systems
  • Utilize software to control test equipment and upload test results
  • Validate test systems setups, review, and accept compliant device data
  • Support the wafer foundry and MMIC design teams

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and Experience with RF/Microwave electrical measurements. (In absence of a degree, 5 years of prior related work experience is required).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Qualifications We Value:
  • Experience/coursework in one or more of the following: RF/microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components
  • Experience with any of the following software: Python, Labview, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics' Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
