DAS Installation Technician (Contract)
Location: San Diego, CA (Occasional travel within Southern California)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Installation Technician to support the deployment of DAS, RF systems, and in-building wireless coverage solutions in new construction environments. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Installation Technician to support the deployment of DAS, RF systems, and in-building wireless coverage solutions in new construction environments. This role involves hands-on installation, testing, and troubleshooting of DAS infrastructure to ensure reliable emergency communication coverage.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure Public Safety DAS, RF components, antennas, coaxial cabling, and related hardware.
- Pull and route coaxial cables through ceilings, risers, and confined spaces.
- Perform sweep testing, signal verification, and antenna alignment for optimal RF performance.
- Work safely on ladders and handle heavy equipment such as cable spools and BDAs.
- Collaborate with other trades on active construction sites.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and site protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with DAS installation, RF testing, and coax cable pulling.
- Knowledge of sweep testing, signal optimization, and antenna alignment procedures.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and on ladders.
- Must provide own PPE.
- OSHA 10 certification required.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Familiarity with construction site safety and coordination.
Additional Details
- Occasional travel within Southern California may be required (travel accommodations provided).
- Candidates should be local to the San Diego area.
