Description
Robert Half is seeking an IT Systems Support Technician to provide frontline technical support for internal end-users. This role involves maintaining desktop and mobile hardware, supporting software environments, and ensuring workstations and related equipment remain functional and secure. The position is hands-on, with responsibilities ranging from user onboarding to asset tracking and troubleshooting.
This is a Direct/Permanent Hire role that will require an onsite work schedule (5 days in office).

The position is hands-on, with responsibilities ranging from user onboarding to asset tracking and troubleshooting.

Primary Duties:
End-User Support & Onboarding
- Act as the initial point of contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical issues via a ticketing platform.
- Set up new hires with equipment, user accounts, and system access; walk them through basic tools and policies.
- Assist users with resolving technical problems related to devices, software, or network access.
Device Management
- Prepare and maintain desktop and laptop systems, primarily Windows-based.
- Install and support peripherals including printers and scanners.
- Track hardware inventory and coordinate replacements based on lifecycle schedules.
- Identify performance or security concerns and recommend suitable upgrades.
Network and Mobile Configuration
- Assist with low-voltage network cabling, including installation and termination.
- Occasionally perform small-scale wiring projects; may require use of a scissor lift.
- Configure and support company-issued mobile phones and related services.
Documentation & Support Continuity
- Document recurring issues and solutions to promote knowledge sharing and reduce future escalations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to address after-hours support needs and minimize service disruptions.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2-4 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and basic networking protocols.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to assist users with varying technical backgrounds.
- Capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to new systems or tools.
