Job Description:
Required Qualifications:
- At least 6 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience of at least 1 or 2 full-cycle implementation for a utility (Electric/Gas) with hands on design, development and deployment experience in GIS.
- Experience in GE Smallworld Development and Maintenance.
- GE Smallworld EO GDO Development Experience in Magik Code Programming and is Hands on.
- Interface/Integration Expertise
- Safe FME Expertise including SBS FME Plugin.
- Expertise working in Agile Environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with process integration of GIS with other utility enterprise and operational systems
- Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability
- Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
- Should be familiar with the latest technology trends in the GIS Industry.
- Should participate in requirement discussions with the client for the GIS program.
- Should be able to resolve issues related to the development or support of GIS applications
- Should be able to design the forms, workflows and portlets, integration with the required systems. Mobile platform development is an added advantage.
- Should be able to perform issue resolutions during support /Post-Go Live phase.
- Should be able to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested.
- The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the course of the project.
