Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain custom applications using ABAP programming in S/4HANA.
- Create and manage Data Dictionary objects (Tables, Views, Domains, Data Elements, Search Helps, Lock Objects, CDS Views).
- Develop reports with ABAP List Viewer (ALV) using both Function Module and Object-Oriented approaches.
- Implement advanced ABAP techniques such as Module Pool Programming, BAPIs, Function Modules, SAPscripts, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.
- Build and support interfaces using ALE/IDocs, RFCs, FTP/sFTP, Web Services.
- Perform data migration and conversion using BDC and LSMW.
- Design and expose CDS Views as APIs for external data consumption.
- Develop and manage OData and SAP Gateway services.
- Leverage HANA Studio for CDS development, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver business solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development (minimum X years, ideally 6 8+).
- Expertise in S/4HANA ABAP, CDS Views, OData services, and API development.
- Proficiency in interface technologies: IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary, ABAP reporting, and development techniques.
- Experience in BDC, LSMW, and SAP data migration projects.
- Familiarity with HANA Studio for development and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
