Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Application Analyst to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will play a key part in supporting and managing system integrations across various healthcare platforms, including Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). Your expertise will drive application strategies, process improvements, and project implementations to ensure optimal performance and compliance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversee the integration of healthcare systems, including EMRs, to ensure seamless functionality and data flow.

Develop and implement application strategies that align with organizational goals and industry standards.

Create detailed process maps to document workflows and identify areas for improvement.

Conduct comprehensive gap analyses to address system deficiencies and recommend actionable solutions.

Plan and manage end-to-end project implementations, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.

Collaborate with customers and vendors to gather requirements, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.

Monitor Health Exchange data, perform analyses, and generate insightful reports to support decision-making.

Document business requirements thoroughly to guide system development and improvements.

Support Quality Assurance (QA) testing to validate application performance and ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements

A Master's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Health Informatics is preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in application support, including system integrations and working with EMRs.

Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices in application development.

Experience with healthcare IT systems, public health IT programs, or healthcare-related compliance initiatives.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.

Expertise in working with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and performing advanced data analysis.

Familiarity with IT service management methodologies and industry standards.

Strong project management skills, particularly in healthcare or IT-related initiatives.
