Contract Duration: 24 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 7-9 years experience designing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprises.
  • 7-9 years experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) in a large enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams.
  • CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE Certification preferred - Datacenter.
  • Strong experience in Business to Business Extranet Connectivity including transport, resiliency, natting, VPN.
  • Strong experience in existing connectivity analysis and recommendations on current preferred solutions.
  • Strong experience in configuring Cisco Routers/Switches.
  • Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of engaging partners and other stakeholders to support important business decisions.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Network Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Network Engineering deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Network Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Network Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Network Engineering.
  • Responsible for research and design of business to business network connection solution decisions.
  • Plan and execute network changes via the Clients change control process, assist on mitigating risk by proactively addressing capacity problems or system related issues, participate in enterprise level projects from an network perspective.
