What You'll Get to Do

CACI is seeking a DevSecOps Developer for our US Air Force Cloud One Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration contract. This role will focus on CI/CD Pipeline development and agile methodologies, thriving in a culture of innovation and solving complex technical and procedural problems at both team and portfolio levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevSecOps practices, cloud technologies, and security implementations, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise in DevSecOps practices, cloud technologies, and security implementations.

More About the Role
  • Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure on a variety of Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Azure, OCI, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate the deployment process.
  • Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes or other similar orchestration software.
  • Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.
  • Implement automated security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to maximize the performance and comprehensiveness of the DevSecOps pipeline.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest DevSecOps trends, tools, and technologies.

You'll Bring These Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+) or higher.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
  • Experience with multiple cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Advanced security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
  • Experience leading DevSecOps teams or mentoring junior developers.
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages and tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (NIST 800-141, DoD STIGs, etc.).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration in cloud and security environments.
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
  • Knowledge of FedRAMP and DoD Cloud Computing SRG requirements.
  • Experience working in a DoD cloud environment
  • Experience with Air Force application development

$74,600-$156,700
