We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS R12 Inventory Costing Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules, including Inventory, Shipping, and Costing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle EBS R12 implementation projects, specifically within Manufacturing and Supply Chain environments, and will play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting end-to-end business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and participate in Oracle EBS R12 implementations, upgrades, and support projects focused on Inventory, Costing, and Shipping modules.
Gather and analyze business requirements to design scalable and efficient Oracle SCM solutions.
Configure and customize Oracle EBS R12 Inventory, Costing, and Shipping modules to align with client needs.
Collaborate with technical teams for RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) development and testing.
Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-production support activities.
Provide subject matter expertise on inventory valuation, item costing, and sub-ledger accounting integration.
Develop functional design documents (MD50s), test scripts, and end-user training materials.
Support cross-functional integration between SCM, Manufacturing, and Financial modules (GL, AP, AR).
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support for live environments.
Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for system configuration and process documentation.
Required Skills and Experience
10+ years of overall experience in Oracle EBS R12 SCM with a focus on Inventory, Shipping, and Costing modules.
Proven experience in at least two full-cycle Oracle R12 implementation projects.
Strong understanding of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management business processes.
Hands-on experience with Cost Management, Inventory Valuation, WIP accounting, and Material Transactions.
Proficiency in Oracle Applications setups, configurations, and documentation (AIM/OUM methodologies).
Working knowledge of interfacing with Finance (GL, AP, AR) and other modules.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Certification in SCM or Cost Management is an advantage.
Experience with Oracle Cloud SCM or exposure to Fusion applications is a plus.
Background in manufacturing or logistics domain preferred.
