RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Business Development Manager II to join their team in San Diego, California (CA). This is a hybrid opportunity that requires 3 days a week on site.

Overview:
This position supports product and data-in partnerships including In-Product Upsell (IPU), bundled services partners, payroll providers and HCM partners. This role works with many cross-functional teams including product, legal, accounting, technology, and implementation groups. You will be the account manager and primary POC for these internal stakeholders as their -go-to- for business, support and contract items. This role may also require representing Intuit in senior-level interactions with external partners to drive best-in-class integrations and engagement to benefit our shared customers.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage complex relationships with external partners, driving day-to-day engagement for company product and marketing
* Develop and evolve the strategy and relationship with partners
* Measure and drive joint performance, analyzing results, highlighting issues, and recommending strategic pivots to optimize outcomes
* Identify new opportunities to expand existing partnerships or identify new partners to drive growth
* Serve as an Intuit channel ambassador, balancing Intuit and partner objectives to deliver Win/Win results
* Liaison with internal cross-functional partners to accomplish delivery of the partner product/service and resolve customer issues/problems
* Determine key business needs and curate paths to new Win/Win/Win opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:
* A Bachelor's degree is preferred
* 5-7 years of relevant experience in partnership management, account management, product program management or business development
* Track Record: Proven track record of driving growth in previous roles; Software as a service or financial services experience is a plus
* Relationship Building: A genuine enthusiasm for building and nurturing professional relationships; Values responsiveness and attention to partner needs
* Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Problem-Solving: Excellent proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve customer issues
* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze performance data, create forecasts, and use insights to make strategic recommendations
* Independence: Ability to operate independently with high personal standards of excellence
* Prioritization: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with APIs, Proficiency with Google drive, Slack and some experience with Salesforce
* Business Acumen: Ability to comprehend service agreements and partner contracts
* Interaction: Represent company in executive-level interactions, communicate with sales and technical leaders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
