Required Education:
High School Diploma required.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Technical individual with 2-year technical school,
Administrative computer skills, Word and Excel.
Working knowledge of problem solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Certification:
Technical certifications (ex. CompTIA A+).
Feild Technician Overview:
Individuals are responsible for repairing, staging, and configuring and QA IT hardware for stores and field service technicians. This position will also refurbish, and QA returned store hardware equipment. Constant walking and standing. Constant lifting less than 30lbs but occasionally lifting up to 80lbs with assistance.
Provides technical support to the organization's internal users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes).
Answers questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status, and downtime procedures and is typically located within a call center. Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems.
Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems.
Job Duties:
Administer asset tracking using client software systems.
Provide staging, configuration and bench repairs of specific client store hardware.
Process all applicable warranty claims.
Accurately record all production details and inventory movements.
Refurbish and QA returned store hardware equipment.
