Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Engineer 3 to join our team focused on building and scaling our experimentation platform. In this role, you will design and maintain core services that enable experimentation at scale, integrating with feature flagging, segmentation, and data systems. You'll work closely with product, data science, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that drive innovation and decision-making.

As a mid-level engineer, you will contribute to the technical direction of the platform, participate in architecture discussions, and help ensure operational excellence through incident response and continuous improvement.

About the Team
The SE team owns and evolves the Experimentation Platform, among other central platforms, enabling teams across the company to make data-informed decisions with speed and precision. Our platform integrates with feature flagging, cohort segmentation, and analytics systems to support experimentation at scale, ensuring that developers, product managers, and data scientists can test, learn, and iterate rapidly.

What You'll Do
As a Software Engineer on the Experimentation Platform team, you will:
  • Design, build, and maintain core services that power experimentation at scale.
  • Develop integrations with feature flagging, segmentation, and data systems.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of the experimentation platform.
  • Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to understand their needs and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Contribute to technical direction, best practices, and documentation for the platform.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and incident response to ensure platform excellence.

What We're Looking For
  • Proficient in software engineering with expertise in the following languages: Go, TS Fullstack, and Python..
  • Experience developing distributed systems, backend services, or developer platforms using cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with experimentation, feature flagging, or A/B testing systems (a plus).
  • Understanding of APIs, event-driven systems, and data pipelines.
  • Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
