Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 17 Months

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation of a new Project Management Information System (PMIS) using the Kahua platform. The role will focus on planning, integration, configuration, deployment, and end-user support to streamline project planning, design, construction management, and asset management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business processes, workflows, technical designs, and system requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to optimize workflows and requirements.

  • Assist with system configuration, deployment, and unit testing of new functionalities.

  • Support data analysis, mapping, migration, reporting, and analytics.

  • Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements.

  • Develop and support test cases for Unit, UAT, and Pilot testing.

  • Conduct end-user training sessions for UAT and Pilot phases.

  • Provide support during UAT, Pilot, and Go-Live stages.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 5 10 years of business analysis and process mapping experience.

  • 5+ years of data management, data analysis, and data migration experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  • Strong project management and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master s degree or Business Analysis Certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA).

  • Experience in workflow reengineering, system configuration, and integration projects.

  • Background in the construction or engineering industry.

  • Hands-on experience with the Kahua construction management application.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development methodologies.

  • Exposure to SaaS environments, cybersecurity protocols, and system integration.

  • Strong collaboration skills with clients, technicians, and leadership.

  • Analytical thinker with a detail-oriented approach.
