Job Summary

• Lead and own cloud computing initiatives across the organization.
• Direct architectural strategy for cloud platforms spanning IT and business functions.
• Plan, design, and engineer cloud infrastructure and cloud-native applications.
• Design and implement hardware and software solutions supporting cloud adoption.
• Apply deep knowledge of cloud service models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Support enterprise modernization, innovation, and AI-driven cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud application architectures aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Architect scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient cloud infrastructure following industry best practices.
• Assess existing on-premises and hybrid infrastructure to identify cloud migration opportunities.
• Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies, including timelines, dependencies, and resource planning.
• Implement and validate cloud migrations, ensuring data integrity, performance, and system functionality.
• Ensure cloud solutions comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry frameworks.
• Design and implement cloud security controls to protect data, applications, and workloads.
• Monitor cloud environments and analyze system performance.
• Identify and implement optimizations for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into cloud-based solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and best practices to IT and engineering teams.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities for cloud innovation, automation, and service improvements.
• Advise technical and business leaders on AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI initiatives.
• Map AI/ML use cases to cloud services across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Analyze cloud services to develop:
  • Reference architectures
  • Technical runbooks
  • Training and knowledge-sharing materials

Candidate Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 10+ years of experience architecting enterprise application solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• 8+ years of experience architecting solutions on one or more cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• 8+ years of experience designing cloud-native application architectures.
• 8+ years of experience architecting solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service models.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Deep Learning solutions using AWS or Google technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with virtual networking concepts including VPC/VNETs, VPNs, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.
• 8+ years of experience with cloud security frameworks, encryption, IAM, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• 8+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• 8+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• 8+ years of programming or scripting experience using languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar.
• 8+ years of experience with API design, development, and management (RESTful and SOAP APIs).
• 8+ years of experience designing microservices, serverless, and cloud-native architectures.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud cost analysis and optimization while maintaining performance and reliability.
• 8+ years of experience monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing cloud system performance.
• 8+ years of strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate cloud strategies to stakeholders.
• 8+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business leadership.
• 6+ years of experience with AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Redshift, EC2, Data Pipeline, Kinesis, and EMR.
• 6+ years of experience with AI services or platforms such as AWS AI services, Google Vertex AI, Agent Builder, or related toolsets.
• 1+ year of holding a cloud certification such as:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect
