Job Title: SAP MM/IM Functional Consultant

Client Type: Oil & Gas

Location: Remote - San Antonio, TX is preferred

Contract Duration: 1 year (extensions based on performance)

Rate: up to $90/hr.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MM/IM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Materials Management (MM) and Inventory Management (IM) modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and support of SAP MM/IM solutions to meet business requirements and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the configuration and customization of SAP MM and IM modules based on business needs.

Analyze business processes and translate them into SAP solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Create and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and training materials.

Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues related to MM/IM processes.

Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and company standards.

Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancements, and rollouts.

Train end-users and provide ongoing support and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM/IM configuration.

Strong understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P) and inventory management processes.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.

Proficiency in SAP configuration tools, tables, and integration points with other modules (e.g., SD, WM, FI).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SAP Fiori apps and SAP Activate methodology.

Knowledge of ABAP debugging for functional troubleshooting.

Familiarity with third-party logistics (3PL) and warehouse integration.

SAP certification in MM or S/4HANA is a plus.
