*Hybrid | 4 Days/week | Charlotte, NC*

SSIS Developer

One of our most established and stable clients in the Charlotte, NC is looking for a skilled SSIS/C# Developer who will be working on several highly complex, custom Business Intelligence initiatives using the Microsoft BI stack. This Developer will be working with a collaborative team to help build out a series of data sources that are vital to the business.

This SSIS/C# Developer will have experience building complex ETL packages and will be able to write extremely complex SQL statements to move and pull data. This Developer will also have experience working directly with business units to gather development requirements. It is a plus if this person has experience working with Snowflake or on an Azure platform.

This SSIS Developer will start out on a contract, but this team is only looking for people who want to stay on the team long-term. This position can offer a competitive pay plus benefits.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $55 - $60 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, configuration, and testing of complex applications to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and manage ETL processes for efficient data integration.
  • Write code in C# and .NET to optimize IT platform performance.
  • Drive adherence to coding standards and secure coding principles.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Contribute to architectural designs and influence technical decisions.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies for optimal team collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation.
  • Participate in rotational on-call support and maintenance activities.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed systems.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience developing SSIS
  • Experience with SQL Server 2019 or higher
  • Strong experience coding with C#
  • Able to write extremely complex SQL statements
  • Experience with Snowflake and Azure are a plus

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
