Python Developer local to Reston. This is an AWS engineer with automation experience in Python

Job Title: AWS Python Developer
Job Summary:

We are looking for a Python developer who has experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will help build and manage cloud-based applications, write clean and efficient Python code, and work with various AWS services like Lambda, S3, EC2, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and maintain Python code for web and backend services

  • Use AWS services (like Lambda, S3, EC2, DynamoDB, etc.) to build and support cloud-based applications

  • Build APIs and automate cloud processes

  • Help design and improve system architecture

  • Monitor, test, and troubleshoot issues in cloud systems

  • Work closely with other developers, testers, and project managers

  • Follow best practices for coding, security, and performance

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in Python programming

  • Hands-on experience with key AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, etc.)

  • Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment tools (like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK)

  • Understanding of CI/CD tools and DevOps basics

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Able to work well in a team
