Job Title: SAP PPM Consultant with Finance Integration
REMOTE

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PPM Consultant with strong functional knowledge and hands-on configuration experience in Project and Portfolio Management, especially in alignment with Finance (FICO) modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions, aligning business processes, and implementing effective PPM strategies integrated with financial controls, budgeting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP PPM and its integration with SAP FICO.
Design and configure project structures, phases, decision points, buckets, scoring models, and approval workflows.
Integrate project budgeting, cost planning, and forecasting with SAP FICO (especially CO, PS, and IOs).
Support project accounting, capital investment management, and asset settlement processes.
Work closely with Finance to manage cost allocation, billing, revenue recognition, and WBS elements.
Customize SAP PPM portfolio hierarchies and implement risk and benefit analysis workflows.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and map them into SAP functionality.
Create functional specifications and coordinate with developers for custom enhancements (RICEFW).
Conduct UAT, training sessions, and provide post-go-live support.
Ensure solution compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and SAP best practices.
Contribute to transformation projects including S/4HANA upgrades and Brownfield implementations.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in SAP Project Systems or PPM.
Strong understanding of SAP FICO integration (especially CO).
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferred).
Proven track record of delivering projects in Brownfield or Hybrid migration environments.
Deep knowledge of project budgeting, investment programs, and financial reporting.
Experience with SAP GUI and Fiori apps related to PPM and finance.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
