Job Description:
Summary
- Act as the primary systems partner for Data Center Operations, Infrastructure, and Facilities teams.
- Manage tools supporting the full data center asset lifecycle (racking, provisioning, decommissioning).
- Configure and administer platforms:
- DCIM systems (e.g., Sunbird, Nlyte, Netbox).
- IT Asset Management systems.
- Construction/build-out tools (e.g., Procore).
- Design and maintain runbooks for rack deployment, infrastructure onboarding, and asset readiness.
- Develop internal tools, reports, and dashboards to visualize data center status, milestones, and capacity.
- Integrate build-out and commissioning workflows with operational systems (DCIM, asset registry).
- Build reports, dashboards, and alerts to support operations, capacity management, and project handoffs.
- Partner with Security and Compliance to ensure traceability, access control, and audit readiness.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data center systems, infrastructure operations, or IT systems automation.
- Strong knowledge of data center workflows (rack deployment, provisioning, asset tracking).
- Hands-on experience with DCIM or asset management platforms.
- Skilled in building custom apps, scripts, or APIs (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js).
- Familiarity with data center build-out workflows and commissioning milestones.
- Strong collaboration skills with Infrastructure, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT teams.
- Experience with Procore or equivalent construction/build-out project management tools (preferred).
- Knowledge of asset handoff workflows from construction to operations.
- Understanding of power/cooling infrastructure, structured cabling, and telemetry systems.
- Exposure to infrastructure audit and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting global or multi-site data center environments.
