What will you be doing?

Worldwide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for an NS Domain Architect (DA) to support our Professional Services National Organization. As a DA, your objectives are to support Professional Services by maintaining a high level of technical expertise around the NS Disciplines. The DA will be supporting sales to close services business and continue to support the delivery teams and engineers in the deployment of NS Service while acting as an escalation point. You will also be responsible for assisting with the introduction of new services, including the development and documentation of deployment methodologies, and working with delivery teams to develop those capabilities in the field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the delivery of network planning, design, & implementation as a post sales consultant to WWT's Commercial Enterprise clients.
  • Support WWT presales teams on customer-facing workshops, planning, technical LOE scoping.
  • Create Low Level and High-Level designs of CampDatacenter/WAN networks utilizing industry best practices.
  • Lead the delivery of network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN Platforms, and other network hardware appliances.
  • Oversee/perform new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
  • Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of customer-managed hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Actively participate and support delivery engineers throughout all phases of a project including Project Launch Workshops, Kickoff calls, lessons learned, etc. as needed.
  • Review client deliverables to identify opportunities to improve quality through training, mentoring, product offering improvement, and talent acquisition.
  • Work with Discipline Leads to assist in developing and delivering training and updates on new services.
  • Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post sales consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • Must have at least 7 years of experience designing, deploying, and implementing core route/switch and WAN networks in accordance with industry best practices
  • Data Center Certification (JNCIP-DC, JNCIE-DC, or CCIE Data Center)
  • Enterprise Routing/Switching Certification (JNCIP-ENT, JNCIE-ENT, or CCIE Enterprise)
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience Deploying, managing, and troubleshooting EVPN-VXLAN overlay (Both Cisco and Juniper)
  • Data Center Interconnect (EVPN-signaled VXLAN for DCI, Stitching, etc.)
  • Experience with Juniper and Cisco WAN routing implementations, including OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, BGP, Traffic Engineering
  • Knowledge on MPLS services including Layer-3 VPN and Layer-2 VPN
  • Familiarity with Segment Routing concepts
  • Able to build Data Centers using Cisco NDFC
  • Understanding of the different capabilities, features, and scaling of different Juniper or Cisco platforms.
  • Working technical knowledge of network control protocols (QOS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec, TrustSec).
  • Strong knowledge IP communication and routing is required (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). Experience with inter-company routing is preferred.
  • Understand WAN/LAN and transport technologies (Ethernet, Frame Relay, DMVPN, WAAS and MPLS).
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Related degree in computer science or electrical engineering and/or seven to ten years equivalent network engineering experience.
