Job Details

Join a dynamic, high-impact engineering team driving mission-critical defense programs. We're hiring a Principal RF/Electrical Production Support Engineer to own and support complex RF/Microwave product lines from assembly to final delivery. This hands-on technical leadership role offers the chance to solve real-world problems, optimize production, and contribute to national defense efforts.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as the technical lead for RF/Microwave product lines in production

  • Troubleshoot component-level issues across hardware and test systems

  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve test yields, quality, and throughput

  • Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions

  • Collaborate with design engineering to resolve obsolescence and performance issues

  • Evaluate and implement TDP (Technical Data Package) changes

  • Support technicians and meet critical delivery deadlines

  • Contribute to technical proposals and future program planning


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)

  • 7+ years of experience in military, aerospace, or high-reliability electronics

  • Expert-level knowledge of RF/Microwave, analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems

  • Strong troubleshooting skills using equipment like spectrum/network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.

  • Proven team leadership and mentoring experience

  • Experience with RCCA, data analysis, and quality systems

  • Eligibility for U.S. government security clearance


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with RF subsystems such as amplifiers and modulators

  • Familiarity with FPGAs and programmable logic

  • Tools proficiency: Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS, MATLAB
