About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to lead the design and development of cutting-edge mobile applications. You will play a key role in shaping our mobile strategy, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring our apps deliver world-class performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
- Architect scalable, maintainable, and testable mobile solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements.
- Review code, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.
- Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and security.
- Integrate APIs, SDKs, and third-party services.
- Drive adoption of best practices, coding standards, and modern development tools.
- Stay ahead of emerging Android technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
- Deep understanding of MVVM/MVP architecture and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack components (Room, LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation).
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Retrofit/OkHttp.
- Solid knowledge of Material Design principles and UI/UX best practices.
- Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
