Job Description:

Our clients IT Operations is seeking a highly skilled Windows Imaging Engineer to join our dynamic team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and a strong background in Windows system administration, imaging, and endpoint management. This role ensures efficient system deployment, configuration, and maintenance across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage Windows-based systems and imaging environments.
  • Deploy and configure systems using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and SCCM.
  • Maintain optimal system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows imaging and endpoint

management.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to establish the best system deployment and

management practices.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and IT staff.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, deployment processes, and

policies.

Must-Haves:
  • 7+ years of experience in Windows system administration and endpoint management.
  • Proven expertise in Windows imaging using MDT and SCCM.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a complex IT environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative mindset.


Pluses:
  • Microsoft Certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, or related)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and system hardening
