Job Summary We are seeking a skilled RHEL Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team for a major project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, shell scripting, and supporting high-end GPU workstations. This role involves installing enterprise software, troubleshooting RHEL systems, and collaborating with various teams on major projects. Additionally, you will conduct performance testing on our HPC platform, create detailed reports, and occasionally lead meetings as part of project execution. Key Responsibilities Offer support for high-end GPU workstations Install, configure, and manage enterprise software solutions on RHEL platforms, ensuring compatibility and security standards are met.Diagnose and resolve technical issues, employing strong troubleshooting skills. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a large-scale project, contributing technical expertise and solutions. Conduct performance testing of the HPC platform using custom scripts, analysing data to provide actionable insights.Prepare and present comprehensive reports detailing system performance, resource utilization, and other key metrics to stakeholders.Lead meetings and coordinate project efforts when necessary to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.Qualifications Proven experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, including system administration and technical support. Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools. Experience with supporting GPU workstation setups.Solid understanding of HPC platform performance testing and data analysis. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and lead meetings when needed.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Additional SkillsFamiliarity with enterprise-level software installation and configuration on Linux systems.Experience with major enterprise projects involving cross-departmental collaboration.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
