Crew technical analysis associates act as liaisons between business and technology teams, assisting in the design, development, and testing of technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Android applications, ensuring code quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices
Implement new features and functionality based on product requirements, integrating with RESTful APIs and handling JSON/XML data
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, including multithreaded and asynchronous operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, high-performing mobile solutions
Utilize source control tools (e.g., Git) and participate in code reviews, unit testing, and system testing to ensure quality and maintainability
Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience
6 months to 1 year software engineering experience in Java with appetite/aptitude for Android path
Commitment to industry best demonstrated practices, source code control, architecture, coding structure, and unit/system testing
Ability to perform debugging and troubleshooting tasks
Strong object-oriented programming experience
Exposure to multithreaded or asynchronous programming experience through experience, coursework, or personal projects preferred
Ability to implement features based on product requirements
Experience with interfacing with RESTful services and consuming JSON or XML Familiarity with Source Control tools (Git)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent multi-tasking skills, managing multiple initiatives at one time in a fast-paced environment
The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
